Keisha Chante is on the Small Screen - Soul

Shes at it again!!! Keisha Chante has signed on to star in a new TV Drama called "Soul". The series is scheduled to premiere on VisionTV Feb 11th at 9PM ET. From what I seen of the trailer (below) it actually looks pretty good. It looks like something that I would actually make an attempt at watching even though I've recently quit TV land. I hope this series actually survives because there is nothing but not so real reality shows polluting the airwaves.

Its at least worth a look.

Melyssa Ford - King Magazine

Have you seen this?? Well if you haven't and your male, I would highly recommend it. As you all probably already know, Melyssa is an offical product of Toronto, Ontario and recently made it into King Magazine. Not so fast though, she is in an upcoming issue of the magazine that has yet to hit stands so you'll just have to enjoy the pictures for now... as I am :) More pics below.

The Remix Project on Breakfast Television

The Remix Project is an organization downtown that assists young people (ages 16 -22) to develop their creativity and to obtain jobs within the fashion, art and entertainment industries. I've been down there a few times and it seems like they run a pretty good program. Kid Cudi in Toronto

I just came across this video as I was patrolling You Tube. It doesn't really have much to do with the Toronto Hip Hop scene other than the fact that this interview was done in Toronto but I found it interesting so I hooked it up. Take a look.



One thing that seems to baffle me about Kid Cudi is that he doesn't have all that much material out. I went searching and didn't come up with much. But for some reason, theres all this hype about him. Am I just not digging deep enough?? I dunno but I guess we'll soon find out. Anyway I'm curious as to what you think. What is Behind Closed Doors you ask?? Its an event. Its a party that aims to help you relive the extreme feelings of passion, infatuation through the classics that you know and love. Keshia Chante to Play Aaliyah in New Movie

I know I know I know Im late people... but I just caught it. I mean I heard it a couple weeks ago but it didn't sink in. I mean.... Keshia Chante??? "Where my Bad Boy Go?" Keisha Chante??? I was surprised, shocked, a little bit startled even, seein' as how I hadn't heard a thing about her in a minute. But yeah.. she's back and she's going to be the next Aaliya on the bigscreen. Personally I think she can pull it off.. she has the look, she has the talent and she's from Canada! The real question is.... can she act???
