The Remix Project is an organization downtown that assists young people (ages 16 -22) to develop their creativity and to obtain jobs within the fashion, art and entertainment industries. I've been down there a few times and it seems like they run a pretty good program. I actually know a few successful people that either started out there or are currently working there such as Photo Will (www.lostinthwillderness.com), and CC of CC's Fashion (http://www.cathleencarey.com).
